Indian Railway comprises of 16 Railway zones, the West Central zone is one of these 16. The WCR came into the practical Existence on 1st April 2003. Age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2018 and no age relaxation will be given to reserved categories.
Salary details:
Candidates who will be selected for the above mentioned posts, they will get remuneration Rs. 5200- Rs. 20200/- per month and grade pay will be Rs. 1900-2800/- per month.
Selection Process:
All the capable candidates will be called for trial and after trial round, only the Fit candidates will go for next stage of recruitment. If the candidates declared, not fit then they will not be assessed for further recruitment. West Central Railway will conduct the Interview for selecting the candidates.
Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs. 500/- for general & others and Rs. 250/- for the candidates who belong to SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/Minorities and economic backward classes.

- At the home you under the important information, you need to press “Recruitment of sports persons against sport quota (open advertisement notice no. 01/2017 in WCR for the year 2017-2018” link.
- After hitting the above mentioned link, you will get a PDF format. Read all the instructions and eligibility criteria carefully.
- After that fill the online application form and upload the scanned photograph, signature, proof of academic qualification, proof of date of birth and proof of sports achievement.
- Then pay the examination fee and then press on the “submit” button. After final submission one page of application in PDF will be generate. Then take a print out of it.
- Now, the print out of application form along with the self attested certificates sent to the office of the chairman by speed post, in sealed envelope. Address should be mentioned on that.
